THESIS

Meshara nodes connect directly to smartphones or laptops via Bluetooth or WiFi and require no SIM card or special hardware. Each solar-powered node is plug and play, resilient, and self-healing, making the network robust and scalable. Meshara is an open platform for local services, education, finance, and more, designed to expand access for the 2.6 billion people still offline.

BUILD NOTES
DECISIONS
  • Keep onboarding minimal: no SIM, no special hardware, and no new device dependency.
  • Prefer resilient topology and offline-first assumptions.
OUTCOMES
  • Validated demand for local-first connectivity where traditional infrastructure fails.
  • Shaped a systems approach to participation, not just bandwidth.
